Stress Relief Needed By Many
Daniel Denoon sited in an article in Web MD shared that the latest stress survey from the American Psychological Association boasts that there is plenty of stress to go around in our society.
One in five of us are under extreme stress (reporting 8 or higher on a 10-point scale). That’s actually less than the one-third of Americans who reported extreme stress in last year’s survey, the highest stress level since 2007 when the surveys began. Stress can be relieved using different methods. A cost effective and reliable stress reduction product is fragrance from essential oils. They have the benefit of being economical, noninvasive, natural, and they work. They are also portable. A bottle of your favorite essential oil can be carried in your purse or scented cotton balls in a zip lock bag can keep your oils fresh for an extended period of time. Stress relief happens when the scents trigger emotions in the brain that then tell your body to relax.
Each oil may have a different healing property. Lavender and Chamomile are great for sleep and relaxation while Peppermint has been known to relieve pain.
Stress Relief with Creative Oil Combinations
Essential oils do not have to be used alone. They can be mixed to create unique and customized blends to meet your specific needs. Essential oils come from plants and Herbs.
Massage is a popular method of experiencing aromatherapy. There are also diffusers, which keep your home and other spaces full of a healing stress free aroma.
Stress Relief by use of aromatherapy is most effective when pure brands are used. As with everything there are some brands that are better than others. Consider purchasing from a certified health coach like Karen Ballerteri from Wisconsin http://karenbalistreri.vibrantscents.com or a certified aromatherapy specialist in your area.
